Repositories
Sync installed GitHub repositories and enable the repositories Ernest should inspect.
The repositories page shows repositories selected in the GitHub App installation. Only synced repositories can be enabled for hosted inspections.
Sync repositories
Click Sync repositories after changing the GitHub App installation. Ernest refreshes the list from GitHub and keeps the Ernest activation state for existing repositories.
Fresh installations are synced automatically when the organization has no repositories recorded yet. If the table is empty after installation, click Sync repositories once.
GitHub remains the source of repository access
If a repository is not selected in the GitHub App installation, it cannot appear in Ernest.
Enable inspection
Every synced repository has an Ernest activation switch.
- Enabled repositories can receive hosted pull request inspections.
- Disabled repositories remain visible but Ernest does not spend inspection quota on them.
This lets you install Ernest broadly in GitHub while keeping review traffic limited inside Ernest. For example, you can select all repositories in GitHub and disable archived, noisy, or low-value repositories in Ernest.
Bulk actions
Use the bulk action buttons above the table to enable or disable every synced repository for the selected organization.
Bulk actions only affect Ernest activation. They do not change the GitHub App installation and they do not remove repository access in GitHub.
Search
Use the repository search field to filter the current synced list by repository name.
The table header shows the active count and total synced count. For example, Repository (3/12) means 3 repositories are active out of 12 synced repositories.
